Skeptics in the Pub is a place for inquisitive people of all ages to meet and converse in the High Wycombe area. Skeptics are people who yearn to discover the truth behind the many extraordinary claims of paranormal and unusual phenomena. We make no claims to balance, and actively promote science, freedom of expression and secular humanism. This means we often end up talking about superstition, religious fundamentalism, censorship and conspiracy theory.  

MODERNIST POETRY WORKSHOP The poetry workshop, in which aspiring poets get together and give constructive criticism on each other's work, is a tried and tested format for developing one's poetry. While there are large numbers of (often expensive) workshops led by established poets, I've been surprised at finding few workshops in this country organised simply by aspiring poets themselves (in my experience, such workshops are quite common in the US).
